I recently migrated from 5.5 to 2003. After this the Everyone distribution group is missing but when I try to add it I am told that it already exists! Can anyone shed some light on this problem? thanks

Everyone is a local group.

Really, create a new Distribution Group and add all your users into that and use that instead!

Hi pjhutch,

I ran into this same issue. Everyone is a reserved name in the Windows security model, so you will have to use a different name for your group.
