Setup a brand new W2k SP3 Domain Controller, active directory looks great accepting logins. Ran the DCDiag. It says that the first test it started was connectivity: Server GUID DNS name could not be resolved to an IP Address check the DNS Server name etc.

I am running DNS on the server and it appears to be setup correctly. I can perform queries against the DNS and I get a pass.

The next thing it says is that, it is performing primary tests: skipping all tests cause server is not responding to Directory Service requests. What is this exactly and is it important?

I pass the intersite test and I pass the FSMOcheck test, do I need to fix something before I move on or am I okay, I would think I am having some DNS issues.
