I have a 2k domain controller and a 2k member server with exchange 2003 isntalled on it.

When you run forest prep and domain prep isn't it supposed to setup AD on the domain controller to also have exchange tasks for users?

I've reinstalled both the DC and the Exchange 2K3 server numerous times but still, I can only administer users exchange properties under ADU&C on the exchange server.

Please someone save my sanity! "[Smile]"

Not a 100% sure, but I am pretty sure that Exchange 2k3 must reside on a DC.

Hello Ekstreme,

No Exchange Tabs will only reside on Exchange Server, you need to install the Exchange System Manager on any other DC's manually.

Just insert E2K CD and choose Custom -> ESM.

You don't need to run Exchange 2003 on a DC, I wouldn't recommend it unless you can't afford to have Exchange run on a seperate box. Yes, you can only run the Exchange system manager on the Exchange server, but you can manually install it on other DCs.
