Just curious if this can be done. You have one server in one location that has all the users mailboxes, etc. Is there a way to configure another server at another location to be a fallover. So if the server in the first location crashed, users would be sent to the backup server and not notice anything happened with acess to their mailboxes etc?

Is there anyway to make that work?

I believe that would fall under Windows 2003 Geographically Dispersed Clusters. Here is more info on the topic:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/WindowsServ/2003/all/deployguide/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/windowsserv/2003/all/deployguide/en-us/sdccf_cls_yc xa.asp

This method would ensure that users get little to no interruption in case one of the servers failed. Cluster is the solution to provide fault tolerance to end-users.
