I'm Stuck -> Global Address List Missing (16.Feb.2005 12:48:00 PM)

We have an Exchange 2003 server that is migrated from an Exchange 5.5 server that is still in place. I have moved a few test mailboxes over onto the Exchange 2003 server, all seems to be working well apart from when I open an new e-mail and click to I have no one in my Global address list, If I logon to a mailbox that is still on the Exchange 5.5 machine I have hundreds of entries in my Global Address List

Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can replicate the Glocal Address List to the Exchange 2003 server???????

Have you checked whether the address list(s) is created in ESM?

If I go into ESM and go to All Global address list, I have a default global address list, If I go into the properties of that and click on preview I can see all the the memebers.

Don't know if this helps but if I use OWA the Global Address List is there.

What if you make a new Outlook profile pointing to a mailbox on the new Exchange Server?

The GAL is still empty, I move the mailbox back to the Exchange 5.5 server and the GAL is there.

Is it worth deleteing the default GAL and re-creating it or is that going to cause more problems.
