Hi all,

We're going to be doing some work on our existing Exchange installation which includes adding a load more disks to our Exchange MSA1000.

Tip 9 Disk Geometry - Exchange Real World Tweaks (Part 2) Suggests to us a 64k offset for the partitions.

My questions are

1) Will the MSA based disks [SAN] require this also?

and

2) Will a simple 2 disk mirror require this? I can understand a large RAID 10 seeing the benefit, but will a simple mirror take advantage too?

Thanks
