Hi guys,
I'm facing a strange problem. Can someone help me with this?
I'm trying to telnet a server from a Win XP machine and im able to, but when i try to do the same from a Win2k machine im not able. what can the problem be? when i ping and tracert to this server from this win2k machine everything is happening fine, but when i telnet, the "connection to host is lost" this is the message i get.
Please help me.!

Are these two clients located on the same LAN?

Do you open a command prompt and type:

Telnet servername 25 ?
