Hi,

I have received decided to host my own email server. I have updated the mx record to point to mail.thusislifedesigns.com which is where my server is located. I have opened up port 25 to accept the email. However I still can not accept email.

I have double checked the DNS side of things and it all appears ok.

Can anyone help?

Is there a firewall/routing device in place? I am guessing your home IP is static?
Also - PPOE static will cause many problems.

Your MX record points to mail.dnsvr.com.

Seems to me like it's your ISP's Email server, so try setting the MX record again.

Also, try telneting your own (fixed) IP address from outside the company and see if exchange is alive.
