I'm receiving the following error on my Exchange 2003 server...

OALGen could not generate full details for some entries in the offline address list for address list '\Global Address List'. To see which entries are affected, event logging for the offline address list generator must be set to at least medium.
- Offline Address List

I found an article on Microsoft saying to delete the current Offline address list and to create a new one. I did so but I'm still getting the error anyway.

Mine is only showing up in the event viewer with event id 9320. It doesn't seem to be causing any problem to the server but still doesn't look right.

Hi,

I was also getting this error and set event logging for the offline address list generator to medium. This showed the following error which was the cause

"invalid or expired e-mail certificates. These certificates will not be included in the offline address list for '\Global Address List'.
- Default Offline Address List "

Use ESM, go to the properties of that server and select the Diagnostic Logging tab. Scroll down to the OAL generator service and set the items in there to medium. The manually initiate an OAL creation or wait for the schedule to run. Your application event should tell you which user account is having problemsā

Tim,

Once you find the user, go into ADUC and turn on the advanced features. You well see a published certs tab. There are probably some expired certificates in there. You may be able to just remove themā
