where in the hell is the smtp vitual server in win2k3. this is insane 2k had very simple location and identification 2k3 no- they touch their already shoddy OS and they hose it with more with pretty gui's and less user/admin control awesome.

Can someone help me out here as ic ant even purchase a 2k server any longer. i am in hot water i need to get this new server up with exchange but i need to set the smtp setting so my shit does have an open relay but i can get/relay mail on all 5 of my domains.

When you have installed Exchange 2003 on the box, it can be found in the Exchange System Manager console (Servers > Server > Protocols > SMTP).

BTW Exchange 2003 is a closed relay by default.

this is the problem, i need to let it know what domains i need relayed for. i cannot do this without IIS access- doing it from echange managemnt console is unfortunately worthless for what i need access to .
