Wierd outlook issue using exchange

Status: offline 		Here is the issue:

An employee is using the newest version of Outlook with the latest service packs. When I go to enter the Exchange server in the client, it automatically puts in an old exchange server we took down. This happens even when I put the IP address of the new exchange server in - it will still resolve back to the old name. I have tried to manulally put in the name in the hosts file, etc. Nothing works. The wierd thing about this is that she using the same pc but logs into it as a different user and she has no problems like this at all. I was thinking this might be a DNS issue, but how can that be if she uses the same PC (different profile,) I am having the issue on?

Anyone have any idea or similar issues? Any solutions+

Status: offline 		AD still thinks the mailbox is located on the decomissioned server.
Can she get into her mail by any other means?

Status: offline 		Most likely through OWA. But she is not going to do that. Any other suggestions?
