Had the same problem with a lot of corrupt mails after importing *pst files to the mailboxes on our Exchange 2003 server. Our server was "fresh" installed with Exchange 2003 including SP1. We have tested with ExMerge, manually imported the *pst files into Outlook and even moving mails from the personal folder to a mailbox folder with the same result :-( Did reapply the servicepack, and did also remove the mailboxes and recreating them without any further success. We are using Norman antivirus with the Exchange mail plug-in and this was causing the problem. Disabling the services wasnĘt enough; we had to uninstall it completely, now itĘs working :-) !

It seems to be a problem from the exmerge Tool - We had the same after exporting 40 Mailboxes on a Exchange 5.5 Server and had the corrupt mails on all Mailboxes after importing on a new installed Exchange 2003 Small Business Server. Thru this the Backup can't also read these mail. It is not possible to move, send, re-send or forward these messages - only delete... Does anybody heard from a import/export bug in the latest Exmerge tool or is this an "feature" we have to accept once again ? Any ideas or solutions more, i think it's not Virus-Software releated because on our case the Software was everytime disabled as we have done this.

I heard about not bad application Advanced Outlook Repair .
It's also available for your problem.

Message(s) displays fine within pst file, only after importing it via Outlook 2000 it can't be displayed.
Looks like Exchange 2003 does not recognize certain format of Outlook 2000.
Is there anything I can do to fix Exchange 2003. Are trhere any fixes or patches?
NEED HELP because some pst messages have been moved to a mailbox and can't displayed and there is no backup pst file to restore these messages from.
Please, HELP
