JasonJ -> OWA not displaying correctly (8.Sep.2003 11:13:00 PM)

I've just recently installed Exchange2003 and configured OWA. I can successfully log in BUT the page isn't displayed correctly.

The client is on the same LAN as the web server.

I've trawled the web and found a few suggestions like : "Directory Browsing is enabled on the Default Web Site" to Turn on Form Based Authentication. I've configured ALL of this and it has made no difference whatsoever.

The same client can log in from Outlook2003 without any problems so I'm guessing this is a web site configuration problem.

Any help appreciated.

I have a screen shot if anyone needs it.

Thanks.

JasonJ

Hi Jason,

Post the screenshot on your Web site and I'll take a look.

Hey Tom,

Didn't think you had enough time to be helpful in 2 forums [Wink] Must be more than 24 hours a day in Texas I guess [Big Grin]

I think I know why this problem is happening - URLScan. Exchange is installed on a server that had some old websites. These no longer exist. So it is more restrictive than whats need for Exchange. After checking the logs its confirmed.

So I replaced the original with one specifically for Exchange. Now when I log into OWA my IIS services restart. [Frown]

I'm currently in the middle of investigating and any pointers you have would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Jason

Hi Jason,

LOL! You know that everything is bigger in Texas [Wink]

Thanks for the update on the URLScan issue.

Thanks!
