zoeythecat -> OWA Login screen appears when clicking on Links within email (28.Jul.2005 6:25:00 PM)

Hi All,

I have a strange problem going on with OWA2003. I recently did an in-place upgrade of Exchange2000 to Exchange2003(Enterprise). When receiving Internet Links within an email, when you try to open the link within the email you get the owa login screen. The link redirects you back to the xx.xx.xx.xx/exchange login. Any idea on how to fix this?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Zoey

Just a quick question... have you specified custom error pages in IIS?

No I have not customized the error pages. I haven't done any kind of customization. All I did was do an in-place upgrade from Exchange2000 Standard to Exchange2003 Enterprise. Before the upgrade there were no issues if you opened an Internet Link from within an email the link would open.

Thanks for your attention

Mmmm.... sorry mate, no idea!

A while back i'd specified all IIS custom errors on our webserver to load up our index.html file instead of the usual "page not found" (so if someone from the outside world went to www.mysite.com/sumfing, which obviously doesn't exist, it'll take them back to www.mysite.com)

However, all local computers on the network were also picking up this policy. So if joe blogs went to www.microsft.com, instead of the "page not found" message he'd be redirected to www.mysite.com.

Anyway, wasn't sure if you were being affected by a similar problem so... thats why i asked [Smile]
