Hey thchatha, Im going to assume that OWA has already been configured to use SSL. If it has not, follow this guide first. It is essential that you use SSL with OWA on the internet, otherwise passwords will be sent in plain-text.
If onboard-intl.com points to your public IP address, the setup should be rather simple. If it does not, create a new DNS record (e.g. webmail.onboard-intl.com) and point that to your public IP address.
Once you have done that, on your router, configure it to forward any requests made on TCP Port 443 to the internal IP address of your exchange server. Secondly, if your firewall is part of your router, or is inbetween the internet and your local network, open up port 443 on it.
After you've done all that, test it by visiting https://onboard-intl.com/exchange

When creating the certificate, enter the internet-registered domain name that the external users will access.
For example, if they are going to use https://mail.onboard-intl.com/exchange then enter mail.onboard-intl.com as the domain for the certificate. If they are going to access access https://www.onboard-intl.com/exchange then enter www.onboard-intl.com as the domain.
This reference isn't linked to your internal OBI.COM domain in any way. It is used as a secondary-condition check to verify that the certificate belongs to the correct site. If you enter it incorrectly, SSL will still function correctly when accessing the site, but just warn the user that the actual URL and the certificate URL donĘt match.
Hope that helps!

That was a very helpful guide that you wrote Henrik, I used it when I first implemented SSL on my OWA and had no problems following it, so I referenced it already in my first reply to thchatha.
I think thchatha wasn't sure whether to include their internal domain (obi.com) or their external domain (onboard-intl.com) as their "Common Name" for the site.

thchatha, try looking for your router's manual on the internet (usually on the manufacture's website). Inside the manual, it'll say the default username and password, try these as some companies donĘt bother changing them! If that doesn't work and no-one knows the username/password, sometimes there's a switch/button on the back that will reset it to factory defaults.
However, this may erase EVERYTHING, including the configurations for your ISP (e.g. what static ip, dns, gateway, subnetmask, etc), any customised routing tables, and also ports that are open/blocked on the firewall.
Only use this option as a last resort...

I am currently running Windows 2003 with Exchange 2003. In the initial setup, OWA is defaulted to to configured under the Default website. In IIS 6.0, I created another website and I want to move OWA from the default website to my new website. Does anyone know how to move OWA to a new website or has anyone tried this before? I tried to mimic the OWA virtual directories under default website under the new website, but I was unsuccessful. Thanks ahead of time.
