I've recently installed SBS2003 and exchange 2003. After i reinstalled IIS the routing engine for exchange was corrupted and i needed to do a reinstall. During the period of the corrupted routing engine the server was still receiving email but it wasnt able to deliver it to the proper user mailbox.
The routing problem has been fixed and all mail is delivered correctly except for the mail that was received in the downperiod. When i open the mailbox store i see that some mailboxes contain several items but when the user logs on with MS outlook he cannot find these items. Also when the user logs on to the OWA the mysterious items are not displayed.

My question is do any of you know how to retrieve those items or where the messages are stored on the exchange server?

Thanks
Rain
