outlook 2000 hangs when we click on system administrator. Any answers.

I just finished working with MS on this one. Your problem could be your Organizational forms (your public folder server). If your outlook client cannot communicate with the server that the forms are hosted off of it will cause the mail client to hang. I downloaded debug view from www.sysinternals.com and used it to capture events while I recreated the problem. The server that was listed as the forms home server could not be contacted (it was listed as being added to dead server list). Changing the forms home server to a more accessible server (or hosting a replica locally) could solve the problem. Best of luck.
