I can't figure out how to make the out of office reply to work using Microsoft Outlook 6.0. We are not using Microsoft with a Microsoft Exchange Server so the Out of Office Assistant is not available. I tried using message rules to reply to messages while I was away once and it sent messages in reply to all that was in my inbox. Quite embarrassing. Anyway, I will be leaving for 18 days in August and need to make this work. Any suggestions?

Hi,

This is not an Outlook setting. You need to have a server that can reply to the messages that arrives.
You need to configure this on the server that holds your messages till you download them to outlook - your ISP??
