ceeva -> Uninstall after migration...not possible? (8.Sep.2005 3:38:21 PM)

Hi everyone, This is our first post here...so let me know any secrets i may need to know. Here's the situation - server a (win2000 server standard w/exchange 2000) - was migrated over to server b (win2003 server standard w/exchange 2003) All accounts, etc changed over fine. We are now attempting to de-commission the old box and take it temporarily out of the picture. We are going to to a dcpromo on it, but before that we are going to uninstall exchange 2000. Exchange is turned off on the old box and has been for a week or so... therefore everyone is working fine off of the new box. After getting ready to do the uninstall, i put the disc in and go to the drop down box next to exchange 2000, and it gives me one option - "none". Why is this? For some reason, next to "exchange 2000" it says - Ver 7.0, but next to the rest of the items below it says ver 6.0... could this have something to do with it? Please help. i have attempted to use the following articles with no luck: go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=3052&kbid=307917 www.msexchange.org/tutorials/ Migrating-Exchange2000-Exchange-2003-Hardware.html Thanks
