Ugh! That's an almost criminal abuse of public folders. You could use a variation on this theme: http://forums.msexchange.org/m_1800384387/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#1800384391 Specifically, create a new store with one user in it, which will be your archive user. Then set your main store(s) to all archive copies of email to that user's mailbox. This way your archive data is kept separate from other data (assuming you're using your public folders for other things too, which you may or may not be) and provides one central store than can be managed. Also, I think it might be a bit easier to mess with user stores and public stores, so that's a plus, too. Futhermore, you can do something like export this account's contents to a PST every week or so, so you have nice chronological chunks of email that can be easily mounted and browsed if need be, and will probably fit nicely on burned DVD's for archiving. (Storing your archived pub stores on tape will be a serious pain to go through if you need to find some ancient piece of historical mail.)
