Hi everyone :)

I'm very interested in Veritas Enterprise Vault for our Exchange 2003 and file archiving requirements, I don't plan to buy a solution until next April or so however finding pricing for Enterprise Vault seems impossible unless you sell your soul to the devil and contact a reseller (noooooo....).

I know that people who use it may not want to give out prices due to competitors or any good deal they received however a rough idea would be very helpfull.

I have been researching compliance products for over a year.  Here are some of the prices I have seen, all in USD.
 
Back in March 2005 for KVS.

Pricing for Zantaz EAS from 2004.
EAS Server w/ 50 CAL + 50 EAS Search CAL: $5000
EAS Server 1YR Maintenance: $1000
EAS SToRM Server: $1250
EAS SToRM Server 1YR Maintenance: $250
Support is priced seperately per vendor.

What bugged me about EAS is they set me up with a vendor from NJ when my office is in Seattle.  You would think they would set me up with a local vendor or at least.

Assentor Archive Compliance - Financial Services/Corporate Edition 60 CAL: $15000
Assentor Archive Compliance Support 1YR: $3000
Assentor Mailbox Manager for Exchange: $5000
Assentor Mailbox Manager for Exchange Support 1YR: $1000
Assentor Discovery 60 CAL: $5000
Assentor Discovery Support 1YR: $1000

Pricing for EMC Legato EmailXtender from 2005 (actually getting this updated tomorrow)
EmailXtender w/ 100 CAL: $5000
EmailXaminer w/ 100 CAL: 13000
EmailXtender 3YR Maint: $4500
Legato requires MS SQL server, with at least 14 CAL.  They also recommend putting the 2 products on seperate servers.

Hey Fatboy,

where are you based dude?  Go for someone local.  Go straight to Symantec if you are buying a lot of it.

In-technology in Harrogate are supposed to be pretty good.
