I have a user that tries to send mail from @exwlogistics.com to this mail address but it keeps failing

<sales@freightswift.force9.co.uk>:
212.159.11.36 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550-Verification failed for <rstclair@exwlogistics.com>
550-It appears that the DNS operator for exwlogistics.com
550-has installed an invalid MX record with an IP address
550-instead of a domain name on the right hand side.
550 Sender verify failed
Giving up on 212.159.11.36.

Sounds like they're doing reverse DNS lookup, which a lot of companies don't because it creates extra traffic and slows things down (plus it doesn't do you any good in Exchange; they must be using another mail system).

Have you checked your DNS server's external MX records for the problem the message indicates?
