I need to teardown and rebuild a single box MS 2000 FSMO / 2000 Exchange server.
Let’s just say that the o/s is better off being rebuilt. I need to change the internal domain name, lots of things.
The office has 25 users.
What is the fastest way to preserve the users mailboxes?
Since I have to touch each of 25 stations anyway because they have to leave the old and rejoin a new domain,
should I just copy to personal folders, or should I use exmerge on the server anyway?
Will exmerge work if the mail goes to the same user, different domain?
