It looks like exchange relies on the client in my case outlook. To post free busy info in the free busy public folder. The problem I have is that outlook has to be running all the time for the users calendar to be updated. If one user sends an appointment to another user as long as the receiver has outlook open the appointment will show up as tentative until the user either accepts or declines it. That means if a 3rd user does a free busy search on the users calendar the tentative meeting shows up so they know the person may be busy at that time. If outlook isnít open on the users machine the tentative meeting never gets published to free busy so other donít know if the user is truly free or if there is a tentative meeting that doesnít show up. Does any one know of a way to solve this problem
