When I add a new contact from the OWA, do they appear in the address book?
How can I send an email to a contact rather than opening the contact details and click on the "Send a message to the contact"

ayassin,

One thing you can do it to change the user's preference to search the Local contacts list first then the global address list.

To do this open owa and login as a user and click on the Options icon. Under the section "Contacts option" select the option "Contacts" under the heading of "Check names first against"

Once you done this get the use to type a partial name in the "TO" box and click the icon that looks like the user with a tick - auto fill. This will try to match the user in the Local contact first and then search the global address later.

This is the only way i know.

HTH,

Ashok.
