sergio_asg -> Store.exe consumes 90% or more of CPU (3.Feb.2006 5:19:58 PM)

Hi everybody!!

I've this situation: my Exchange sever has the store.exe process consuming from 90% to 100% of the CPU, I tried all that I know, last service pack, last rollup package, offline defragmentation; and nothing fix the problem.  I had noticed that if I dismount and mount the instance, the CPU works fine but after the midnight, the store.exe starts to "eat" the processor.

I have the maintenance for that Mailbox Store at 1:00 a.m.

Any suggestion?  Thanks....

Hi, thanks for your answer.

I checked for any simultaneous process and nothing seems to be in the same time.  Backup finish at 11:00 p.m., antivirus scan begins at 4:00 a.m. and I don't have any of the events that you specify.

What do you think?

possibly there is something which is causing this memory leak.

now we need to isolated the problem

u can start with disabling third part process

also u can take adplus dump in hang mode.

porblem to me looks like with database

what is the version of store.exe in your server

u can refer this

Hi!!

I was reviewing some changes that I made to domain since the problem with the store.exe started and I found that in the same date I changed the configuration of my domain to syncronize the time with an external NTP server as describe in the article KB216734.  After this configuration, the DC reported in the System log a fix of 95 seconds in time.

Could the time sync change be affecting the Exchange?

Thanks.
