rudejoe -> Consolidate Exchange 5.5 site into Exchange 2003 (13.Feb.2006 6:33:41 PM)

I am trying to consolidate two domains into a single Windows 2003 domain.  Currently, our network consists of two seperate domains, let’s call them DomainA (a Windows 2003 domain native 2000 mode) and DomainB (a Windows NT4 domain).  DomainA is in New York and DomainB is in Texas; a VPN connects them.  DomainA has was upgraded from NT 4 and Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003.  I want to consolidate all of my mailboxes to DomainA (Exchange 2003) and remove DomainB from the network.

Here are the facts:

*DomainA and DomainB are connected by a two way trust.

*Both Exchange servers were installed using the same Exchange Organization name “MyCompany” and handle the email for "Mycompany.com".   At the time of install the two servers were not connected via a VPN.  (Directory replication over SMTP was used to keep the directory in sync)

*The Exchange server in DomainA was created in the Exchange site “SiteA” and the Exchange Server in DomainB was created in the Exchange site “SiteB”.

*Disabled accounts for all of the mailboxes in Domain B have already been populated in active directory on DomainA using ADC connection aggreements, but it looks like these accounts still depend on Domain B.

*I am able to move mailboxes from the Exchange 5.5 server in Domain B to the Exchange 2003 server in DomainA using "Exchange tasks --> Move mailbox --> Cross administrative group"  .

I need to migrate all of the accounts to DomainA and remove Domain B from the network all together.  How can I migrate the user login accounts as well, so that I can rehome these mailboxes to the DomainA login IDs and remove DomainB all together.?  In additiion, are there any other system settings that need to be moved?
