I wonder if anyone can help please?
I am trying to install another exchange 5.5 server into an existing site. I currently have 2 servers in my site.
When running the installation everything is going fine, until it gets to the point where it installs the services and modifys the registry.
It attempts to start directory replication, this fails with the following error.
An internal error has occurred during directory replication. Stop and then restart the directory service. Then try directory replication again.

I have looked this up on the net and have found various KB articles todo with DNS suffix causing this problem, permissions on the Site, Configuration and Organisation containers. I have tried everything I have found.
This really is annoying now. Any help greatfully received.
One thing here is that my new server is in a different domain, running Windows 2000. My existing servers are in a different NT4 domain running Windows NT 4.0. Apparantly this should not matter. Should it?
