Forwarding Email to Contacts (Full Version)

Hi

I have set-up a users account to forward all email to a Contact with an external email address.

But when i send email to the account i get this message re the forward:

Reporting-MTA: dns;server.local
Received-From-MTA: dns;spiritcomms.co.uk
Arrival-Date: Mon, 27 Feb 2006 11:09:29 +0000
Final-Recipient: rfc822;administrator@mcepr.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.5.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 <email address>... Not permitted
X-Display-Name: MCE


This is using Exchange in SBS 2003.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you routing through a Smart Host or using DNS to send messages out?

Sounds like you're using a Smart Host and they are seeing the forwarded email as potential Spam.  I had the same with BT!
