Hello Gentleman,

My name is Randy and I am a Networking Student at Lehigh Valley College in Pennsylvania.
I am currently enrolled in a network enterprise class and along with some of my classmates, have
been tasked with developing and implementing a network. My particular assignment consists of:
  • Install 2 Exchange servers on separate sub-networks.
  • Configure Exchange server replication and email transfer from one subnet to another.
  • Each member of the organization will have an email account.
  • Install email clients on each server in the organization (i.e. our network has the following type servers

Admin server, Site Server, SQL server, Proxy server, and RAS server.)

I was trying to accomplish what I needed to do by using an online e-book through the campus library titled
"Using Microsoft Exchange 2000, Special Edition". but nothing is working and even my instructor can't figure
out why!

I am considering reinstall because I think I may have done it wrong the first time. However, I would like to
try and get it up and running without having to do that because we only have 3 more weeks left to complete
the project and I have spent too much time already installing W2K Server with SP4 and EXC2K. I am in the process
of downloading and installing EXC2K SP3.

Can anyone help this newbie out of a jam?  My instructor has verified that the system hardware requirements have been met and once I install SP3 for exchange, that the software requirements have been met.

I would be eternally grateful for any and all advice.
