I am using Exhange 2000 with SP3 (build 6249.4) and an trying to recover some data using the recovery storage group method.   I see a lot of exmaples for this and Exchange 2003 but am not able to get this to work.  My main issue is that I don't know how (in Exchange 2000) to add the database to be restored.  I see where I can select the EDB files but I get an error saying they already exist (so I assume this ins't what I should be doing).   Can anyone help me with this?  I think I am just missing that one step and details on the internet for my version are vague. Thanks for any help. Joe.

This is not a feature of Exchange 2000 as its a new feature for Exch 2003.

Normally, you would recover the the store to replace the existing store or set up a test system on a test domain to recover the store and access mailboxes from there...
