WVR -> Collecting POP3 mailboxes and sending with SMTP (4.May2006 11:08:17 AM)

Hello,

Is it possible to achieve the following:
- I would like to collect mail from 3 differerent providers with POP3. How do I set that up?
- I would like to send mail via the SMTP from one provider. How do I set that up?

With kind regards,
WVR

You can.
Get POPCON (Google it). You get 60 day (IIRC) for free and then pay for it after that. It's very cheap and good.
However, I will say that it would be far better if you could arrange with the ISPs to deliver the mail direct to your server through SMTP and abandon POP3. I appreciate it isn't always possible, but I need to mention it.

As for delivering to one ISP SMTP relay so that their servers can send out, all you need to do is to go into the SMTP Virtual Server and enter the host name in the SMARTHOST box.

Mark,

Thanks for your reply. I have found it, and I will give it a try.

Kind regards... WVR
