I follow the articles exactly about setting up your own Cert authority and then setting up SSL for OWA.

Before I do this the OWA works fine on port 80 no issues at all.
However once I put SSL on it doesnt work.

I go to the HTTPS page, the certificate pop up box appears, I say yes and then I get the dreaded page can not be displayed.

i have run SSL Diag tool and made sure the firewall is allowing 443 to go through to my email box.

What am I missing..

Did you do an IISRESET from the command prompt afterwards? It worth a try.

Reboot Exchange Services or Server.

Did you try to create a new certificate and stick that?

yup,

Even reinstalled cert services as well.  No go
Also recreated the IIS virtual exchange directories at one point too.  Got that from the http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Fixing-Damaged-Incorrectly-Configured-OWA-2003-Installation.html article.

Still no go
