Whenever I need to stop the store, or I need to reboot due to a patch installation or other need, I am being forced to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the store service to stop. Because there's always someone using email, there's never a good time for this, so the wait is both hard on the users, and, I believe, unusually long. Has anyone experienced this issue and come up with a resolution? The server is a dual 2.8G Xeon, with 3GB or RAM, plently of free disk space on both the C: drive (logs) and the D: drive (store). The machine connects to the native 2003 network via a 1GB NIC, and there are two DC's (both are GCS's, too). I'm currently on Exchange 2003, with SP1. I have SP2 in hand, but awaiting the summer, when things slow down a little (and perhaps an answer to this question.) Thanks in advance for your help!
