paullondon -> OWA SSL Problem (8.Jun.2006 12:38:38 PM)

 Hi all,
I am very new in IT adminstration, only have few months exp. I was trying to secure our OWA by enabling Certificates.
I was following the step by step guide from Henrik Walther.

On the article under "Getting the Pending Request accepted by CA" he mentioned that if I have to enter the username and password for accessing the Certsvr virtual folder then I should use administrator account. Also if this is the case then most probably the content of the CertSrv virtual folder will be blocked and I have to add it to the Trusted sites  in order to contunue.

Now my question is What I have to add to the trusted sites and also how can I add that?

Any help will be highly appriciated.

KR

I'd use a ssl cert from Verisign to make things a little easier. Follow http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175439/EN-US/
and you should be good to go. If you don't have the cash then setting up your own CA will take a bit more work.
