After migrating mailboxes and the other services (free/busy, RUS etc) to my new Exchange 2003 server without many issues, I am having problems removing the first.

Putting in the Exchange2000 CD and selecting 'remove' errors saying that their are mail-enabled users associated with the store and does not proceeds.

As a result I followed the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260378 article to manually remove the server.

I get as far as trying to remove the server in Exchange System Manager when the same error that I initially saw in the Installation disc's wizard.

I guess I could just delete the server in ADSI edit but am unsure whether this will then remove the objects in ESM.

Can anyone advise me?

Regards

Graham
