Xuser -> No retention available for recovery (29.Jun.2006 8:08:56 PM) Hi, we are running Exchange 2000.  In our mailbox properties, under the Limit tab.  It is greyed out. I can see that "Keep deleted items..." for so many days is greyed out but zero is there.  Can someone help out?  Why is it greyed out and how do I change that?  TIA.

Xuser -> RE: No retention available for recovery (29.Jun.2006 8:20:11 PM) Found the answer. The Exchange System Policy has a Mailbox Policy.  The policy has precedence over the mailbox and was set to zero days for "Keeping deleted items for " so many days.
