Hi,

OST file keeps all the mail box data at the time of last harmonization. If you want to access that data so you have to use third party ost to pst conversion software.

If built-in utilities are unable to solve the issues, it means your ost file is severly damaged and is not easy task to repair it. You need to use a third party OST to PST converter application. Have you tried converting the .ost to a .pst ? Try this ost to pst converter this will help you to short out your problem.

You have mentioned that your scanpst or scanost files are working correctly. Well they will not work to recover your lost data of outlook once they are down. You have to get another file to retrieve the data. Download scanpst.exe file with the help of web and download the file as a third party tool. It will help for sure...

Scanpst is not a professional tool, so it cannot repair severely corrupted PST files. So i suggest you to try Remo Repair Outlook (PST) software, which repaired my PST files and also fixed archived files easily. Give it a try. All the Best...

I suggest you to try using software to convert ost to pst that repair corrupt pst files from www.unistal.com/convert-ost-pst.html

And to recover your emails from OST file try uing Convert OST to pst Software from www.unistal.com/convert-ost-pst.html

Scanpst.exe tool sometimes fail to repair corrupted PST file due to some logical or external errors. In most situations, error in the file become prime reason of this problem. In order to perform PST repair task perform scanpst.exe download. Then run this tool to repair corrupted PST file.
