I have Exchange 2003 running on a Windows 2003 server in a 2000AD.  This box is the only 2003 machine in the network.  I'm getting the 8207 and 8276 errors in my application log.  This is the first exchange server in our domain.  We moved from an ISP POP3 account to our Exchange Server.  When I try to view free/busy on Outlook, nothing is there.  I can still schedule appointments, but can't see free/busy.  Is it an issue that free/busy won't work in my 2000AD?  I have gone thru several MS fixes, but none of them are relevant to my problem.  The free/busy folder is there, but it's empty.  Any help would be appreciated.

This is the first installation of Exchange on our domain.  I went into the System Manager, Administrative Groups, First Administrative Group, Servers, ServerName, First Storage Group, Public Folder Sotre, Public Folders, Offline Address Book.  I was following a MS article to look in here for the proper settings, but I can't find the article right now.  All the setttings in here look correct, but I don't have the free/busy stuff.

to chech the contents of free/busy folder .

try this link and check if you can see messages in free/busy folder

http://servername/public/non_ipm_subtree/

is there any data in public folders? the store could be corrupted. so  dismount the public folder store. rename the old edb and stm file for public folder and create new edb and stm files. dont delete the old stm and edb files. you can revert it back if needed.

I tried the link you provided and there was no data in the free/busy folder.  I then dismounted the public store, and renamed the public databases, and created new ones.  Strange, the book I have had a different way of doing it from reality.  It said to right click on the storage group and select New, Public Folder.  No such thing.  I remounted the Public Store and checked.  There were 2 new public databases.  Then Outlook started blowing chunks.  I was getting an error about synchronization, and it stuck a big window on everybody's screen.  Deleted the 2 databases and reverted back to the originals and remounted, and everything's back to normal, but no free/busy.  Thanks

dismount the public folder store
rename the old public folder database files.
mount the store and if there are no database files exchange will create one automatically. during the mount exchange prompts you to create database, click on yes.

The two database files that got created are still in my Recycle Bin.
They are pub1.edb and pub1.stm.  The same name that the old files were.
I really appreciate you helping me with this.
Thanks
