blablablabla -> RE: Wrong Address (6.Aug.2004 2:42:00 PM)
|
Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I apologize.
I have a user called John Doe who's current AD User account has an Exchange account JDoe@msn.com. A couple of months back, JDoe's company was under a different domain, and his logon name was different as well (then it was NYCJDoe@microsoft.com). We used the migration tool to migrate the accounts to the new domain (microsoft -> msn) and after successfully migrating we renamed the user. Everything else works fine, but only in Exchange (outlook), when I type in the "To:" box "John Doe", the box shows the following text: "John Doe <NYCJDoe>" and it thinks that is his e-mail address. Then it tries to e-mail that address which doesn't exist and it returns back to sender with an unknown user account error. I want it to recognize John Doe as "John Doe <JDoe@msn.com>"
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it! :-)
