Has anyone tried to install this combination:

Exchange 2007 x64 Beta 2 on Lonhorn Server x64 Beta 2

I installed Longhorn and then tried to install Exchange 2007

But all I got was an Error that msdaps.dll Version 2.82.2492.0 or higher couldn't be found

There is a Technet-Article, that describes a similar problem

I tried to install the x64 MDAC from

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=904639

but I got an Error "Not enough memory" when I tried to start the setup

Then I installed SQL 2005 x64 SP1 EE because normally it installs also MDAC, but I got the same error when I tried to install Exchange 2007.

I tried to copy the msdaps.dll V2.82.2492.0 manually, but it still didn't work. It is not possible to register the dll, becaus regsvr32 don't work with 64bit-dlls.

In a Windows-Subdirectory I found a msdaps.dll V6.0.x but this doesn't work with Exchange Setup.

Has anyone a ides how to solve this MDAC-Problem ?

Or has anyone sucesfully installed Exchange 2007 x64 on a Longhorn Server x64 ?

Now it works

The problem is, that Exchange 2007 doesn't like the msaps.dll coming with Longhorn (6.0 seems to be lower than 2.8 for Exchange).

After manually change 2 dll with the one from W2K3x64 it's now possible to install Exchange x64 on Longhorn x64.

Perhaps this helps someone with the same problem

Please, which DLL or archive you used of w2k3x64 in longhorn that it allowed exchange 2007 to be installed. As you x64 of w2k3x64 in longhorn registered the DLL. It specifies greaters details of as to decide this problem please.
