Prodigus -> Will there be a Groupwise Connector in 2k7 for Migrations? (16.Sep.2006 12:05:49 PM)

Does anyone know if Exchange 2007 is going to have the normal connectors included for Groupwise?  I haven't had the chance to play with it at all yet and have a migration coming up in January.

I had originally planned to go with 2003 but since 2k7 will be out before the project is supposed to begin I think going str8 to 2007 will be the better option based on what the next upgrade would look like if I don't.

We'll be migrating from Groupwise 6.5...

In the 2003 scenario we were going to use a combination of tools to make the move.  The Exchange Connector to Groupwise and the api from Novell to connect back to Exchange.  This would provide the coexistance during the migration of the 6300 mailboxes.  We were going to use Quest's Groupwise Migrator for Exchange (formerly from Wingra) to actually move the data from one to the other.

I've spoken with Quest and they assure me that their tool will be ready, I'm just hoping my coexistance pieces are going to still be available since that is a critical piece of the project....

There doesn't exist any Groupwise connector for Exchange Server 2007 now, but don't be surprised if one is released as a web release right after RTM [;)]
