It seems okay, but check the bin directory under ExchWeb - make sure that it (and it's subfolders) have Scripts and Executables enabled (it's different to the parent ExchWeb). You might also try changing the Protection Levels on Exchange and ExchWeb to Low or High. You will have to click the Create button first, if the list is greyed out.

Exchweb bin and subfolders have scripts and executables enabled. Changed the protection levels for Exchange and ExchWeb and tried again but still no joy, still hangs at the logon screen after entering credentials and clicking logon.

Time to look at the IIS Logs again, I think. When you first go to OWA, you should see a line like this: 2006-09-19 16:12:11 192.168.111.10 - 192.168.111.10 80 GET /exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp url=http://192.168.111.10/exchange&reason=0 200 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.0;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322) After you try to login, you should see another line showing a POST to owaauth.dll (that's the DLL that checks your credentials). Do you see that POST entry at all?

It looks like there was a successful login at 13:16 - there is a username logged in there, so it must have authenticated okay, and there is a 302 redirect to /Exchange. I wonder if the browser is configured to not accept redirects like that? Mind you, I can't even see an option for that in IE. When you try to use OWA, does it say that the server is in the Local Intranet zone? If not, try putting it in that zone.

BTW, these aren't COM DLLs that you can register like that.
