sgarriel -> Messages frozen in Queue (20.Oct.2006 4:50:31 PM)

My exchange server is not routing messages correctly once they are
recieved from an external source. They are being stored in a queue and
then freezing instead of going to the correct mailbox store. I have
found that all internal mail is working correctly and outgoing mail is
also waiting inside of a queue and not being proccessed its status is
always retry. I am very confused about this subject so any explantion
or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Above is part of the problem because I have always been intresed in network security and I am uneducated in this so please bear with me. I will provided any infomation that is needed.

This was working 2 days ago and nothing has been altered just happened.

You have only one Exchange server? Do you have anything set up in your SMTP vs for smarthost. Any SMTP connectors setup? Try disabling any AV\SPAM and restart your SMTP service.

I have a 2000 small business server that is doing the same thing.  I have mail frozen in queues that I can not unfreeze.  Some of these messages are time sensitive, how do I get them to be delivered?

When I right click and select unfreeze it does not work.

Thanks
Andy

Just fixed this problem.  It was a 2 problems that prevented mail from being delivered.
1.  My IP address was blacklisted.  I switched from exchange deliving my itself to sending it to my isp provider.
2 . my router was having problems and was dropping packets. I reduced my mpu and that solved my router problems.

Hopes this helps

Andy
