Hi,

I noticed that Active directory "2003 server" users can still send/receive emails even after the "Account Expires" date!

Any explanation please?

Thanks

I wonder how this security violation is possible? On the other hand, mailbox rentention / access / permission is not so tightly integrated with AD sometimes. A few question.

1.    Is he a pop3 user?
2.    Can he do the same using OWA also ?
3.    Has he never logged off / closed his outlook after his account expired?
4.    Could there be AD replication issue. Exchange could be using an out of sync DC! Please check your DC for replication too.

Anymore details would be highly appreciated.
