Sorry members I post mistaken because i'm using Exchange 2000[:)] I’ve some trouble in deleting mail in Inbox. Some of my users cannot delete mail in their Inbox. If they directly delete on Outlook Epress, appear the follow message: “Some items could not be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied”. And if I directly delete in their Inbox on Server, appear follow message: “Cannot delete ‘filename’: Cannot find the specified path. make sure you specify the correct path”. If this increase make all user unpleasant. I don’t know why, and waiting reply from you as soon as possible. Thank more

Sometimes their due to logical corruptions within the mailbox, and sometimes more rarely logical corruptions with the database. You can 1. Shift + delete the message 2. Move the mailbox to another store skipping corrupted items 3. If that doesn't work perform isinteg

Sorry member Can I explain my trouble is following: I'm an Admin mailserver. Almost my users're using IE because they haven't got private PC, so they cant use OE. The trouble divide 2 cases: 1. if my user delete in Inbox on IE, appear message ""Some items could not be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied". They complain to me, and I delete directly on server, but appear message "Cannot delete ‘filename ’: Cannot find the specified path. make sure you specify the correct path". 2. With some users use OE, they have following trouble: if they chek by OE, they don't meet mails that cannot delete. But sometimes they check by IE, they meet some mails make them unplesant (but i dont know why when they check by OE, these mail not in Inbox), and they want to delete, but if they delete, same the case (1). When did this start happening. Did you recently perform a migration? Is this occuring for most of your users?

Hi member -My exchange 2000 system has operated for 2 years. Now have about >200users. This trouble has been occuring for 1 year.And 1/4 users have this trouble. - I've never performed migrate to to exchange 2003 or higher version. If you can, pls show me the way to upgarde exchange 2000 to exchange 2003.Thanks! Reply to me as soon as possible. Thank more!

If this is occuring for a large number of users, you may have logical database corruptions. Do you have any errors in your event id?

Hi jchong After i delete these mail, i checked in Event view but havent any warning or information relate this trouble. I don't know the cause but i really worry about this. [:(][:(][:(]

Are you using Ex standard or enterprise?

Hi jchong Sorry, i feel ashame[:)] because i don't know how to check my system is Enter. or Stand. When i into my company. it was intalled. And I havent CD source, too. So...I dont know. if you can, show me the way to review my exchange 2000 is enter, or stand. Thank more more !!!!

Hi. I had a similar problem, but I don't know if it's the same. I couldn't delete some e-mails when I was using Outlook Web Access. They were corrupted messages so they were giving me troubles, and I had to delete them. It turned out, that at the same time while I was trying to delete them the mailbox was openned on a different PC. So that was the problem. Maybe your users open OE home and don't close it when they go out to work. So when they are at work they cannot delete messages, because the mailbox is already open. So check this out. For example first take a mailbox with no problems, open it on several different computers and try to delete e-mails. Good Luck.

Try mywifeisdead's suggestion first, it may be an overall mb corruption. If that doesn't work move the mailbox to another store since you are using enterprise and can have multiple stores. I would select skip 100 corrupted items. Then test.
