Greetings, I have an Exchange server (server X) and a secondary (server O), you can see both of them in the Systems Manager. I want to do away with Server O, whats the best way to do it? Unistall Exchnage and then demote the server?

Usually shut it down for a few days, if there's no issues, bring it back up and uninstall Exchange.

I definitely agree with Jchong. Leave the previous server off for a while and make sure everything is working fine. if this was the first server installed in the organization, make sure you move all the roles (OAB server and routing group master), replicate all the public and system folders, move all the mailboxes to the new server. How to remove the first Exchange Server 2003 computer from the administrative group {http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822931}
