seandakid -> Undelivered Mail: Some stuck in queue, some not (8.Dec.2006 3:20:29 PM)

Hello all,

I have been having issues with my Windows 2000 Small Business Server's Exchange.

I have a couple of users that are not getting their mail delivered to the recipients. These users also get intermittent issues with receiving email, their colleagues say that they receive a kickback from our email server. I looked in the Queue and noticed that some of the emails stay in there for sometime... others leave right away.

One user cannot send email to the same person with a Gmail account. The email never gets there. I have them looking at their spam filter to ensure Gmail is not picking it up as spam or something. People are getting very frustrated, and I have done pretty much every test I can think of. ANY IDEAS? Please?

From my understanding, you have certain users in your org that cannot send mail to external domains? So say bob@yourcompany.com cannot sent to john@gmail, but chris@yourcompany.com can? Whos getting the undeliverable? Can you post this?

Thanks for the response. That is correct. I have some users that can send an email to a domain with no issues, then others get bounce back messages. For instance bob@mycompany.com can send an email to stuff@stuff.com but chris@mycompany.com cannot, he gets a bounce back, and only sometimes. Other times the message gets through. Something else interesting, that sometimes I can use the telent mail.mycompany.com 25 test and get a response from my exchange server, other times it does not work..... so strange.
