wvdp -> mail stuck in outbox (7.Feb.2007 7:25:34 AM)

Hello,

I setup exchange 2007 (32 bit) evaluation on a windows2003 standard server (DC)
I did a standard installation.
After the installation i tried to send local mails to users in the same AD-environment)
None of the mails where sending, they all are in my outbox ( tried outlook 2003,2007)
If i use OWA, mails are going to the drafts folder instead of sending to te receiver.

I also download the Virtual machine (exchange 2007) from microsoft for doing
some tests, the same problem here.

Is it normal, if you do a standard install, that you cannot send local mails?
Is there extra configuration necessary?

Never had so much trouble to get it working wit older versions.
( Did them all,  exchange4, 5.5, 2000 2003)

Tx,

No typically this just works out of the box. Only thing you cannot do by default is receiveing inbound mail directly to the Hub Transport server, as it doesn't allow non-authenticate connections default.

Dod you only got one E2K7 server deployed?
