valentik -> Unable to send mails (7.Feb.2007 8:28:46 PM)

Hello everybody,
First of all, I want to thank you all for reading this post.
I was installing Exchange 2007 Server two weeks ago and I will going crazy.
The only one problem I have is that I can't send mails, but not to everyone, only to people who have not a mail address to my provider !!!
For instance, I can send mail to anyone@myprovider.com but I can't send to anyone@anyonelse.com !!!
The mails are blocked in the queue, and usualy I have an error message "mail submission failed, syntax error ..."
If anyone have any idea, even crazy, I get !
Hope I will read you.

Hi,
Sounds like your sendconnector is not configured to handle mail for the '*' domain.
If you are using the default sendconnector, you need to add the '*' domain.

Thanks you. But My send connector seems to be well configured.

Are you using a smart host at your ISP? If yes you might want to try using DNS MX instead.
